Are you tired of guessing which replacement filter will actually keep your backyard oasis clean all summer? I have spent hours analyzing buyer feedback and specifications to compare these two options for you. In my view, matching your specific pump capacity to the right cartridge makes all the difference. Let us rank these contenders so you can get back to swimming instead of skimming.
1. POOLPURE Type B Pool Filters Compatible with Intex 29005E, 29005/59905, JPC01 Type IV-B, 28633EG, 2500 GPH Cartridge Filter Pump, Flow Clear/Easy Set Reusable Swimming Pool Filter Cartridge, 2 Pack
This model earned its top ranking because of its exceptional high volume capacity, which handles heavy debris loads without breaking a sweat. When I reviewed the design specifications, I noticed the pleated trilobal fabric traps significantly more dirt than standard smooth paper.
My primary concern with heavy-duty options is usually cleaning fatigue, but buyers note this surface rinses clean quite easily. I would choose this one for larger pumps that need reliable particulate trapping all season long.
Buyers frequently praise the sturdy construction that prevents collapsing under heavy pump suction.
Reviewers often mention that the end caps hold up well against harsh chlorine treatments.
Users appreciate getting a convenient two pack for continuous rotation during peak swim months.

2. INTEX 29007E Type H Pool Filter Cartridge: for INTEX Filter Pumps – Easy-to-Clean – Dacron Paper – Efficient Filtration – Single Pack
This option is best for standard Intex setups running lower-horsepower filter pumps on smaller pools. It relies on Dacron paper material to catch fine dirt particles effectively without restricting your water flow.
I think this makes a great budget-friendly backup when you need straightforward maintenance rather than industrial-strength filtering. My main hesitation is that finer paper tends to clog faster, meaning you will be reaching out with the garden hose more frequently.
Customers consistently report that installation takes less than a minute.
Several reviews point out that the material requires gentle rinsing to avoid tearing the pleats.
Pool owners like the accessible pricing for routine filter swaps.

Choosing Between Them
If you want the top recommendation, POOLPURE Type B takes the crown because you get a convenient two pack built for heavy filtration demands. But you should always check pump compatibility before buying so you do not end up with an oversized cartridge that restricts your flow.
