I Tested the Top Travelers Choice Luggage, Here’s My Honest Take

This model earned its spot at the top of the packing speed category because of its vertical access lid. Instead of splitting your suitcase down the middle on a cramped hotel floor, you simply unzip the top lid.

I think this design is a game changer for small spaces, though the large 30-inch frame demands some muscle.

Frequent fliers who refuse to check bags will find their ideal travel companion right here. This hardshell carry-on fits easily into overhead bins on regional jets without causing gate-agent friction.

I would rank this as my overall favorite due to its reliable proportions and clean aesthetic.

An unusually quiet wheel system sets this massive 30-inch case apart from typical noisy baggage claim rollers. Once you push it across rough pavement, the impressive maneuverability becomes immediately clear.

I find the mauve shade striking, but I know bright luggage shows dirt faster than traditional dark tones.

The most common complaint about this navy variant is the scuffing visible on dark matte plastics after heavy gate checking. Despite that minor cosmetic drawback, the hardshell construction absorbs heavy impacts without cracking.

I consider this a dependable workhorse for weekly commuters who prioritize structure over pristine looks.

Sharing the exact same frame as the navy model above, this slate blue version trades corporate severity for a calmer aesthetic. It offers the same reliable hardshell protection while keeping your packing gear secure during turbulent flights.

I prefer this softer hue because it is much easier to spot on a crowded luggage rack.

Marketed heavily as a fashion-forward statement piece, this lavender carry-on has built a strong following among trend-conscious travelers. That pastel exterior holds up surprisingly well against the abuse of modern transit systems.

I think the pastel tone looks sharp, but you should expect to wipe down the exterior more often.
